SCRIP is Fundraising While You Shop

SCRIP Rebate for Tuition Program
St. Mary's is now offering rebates for tuition.
You may elect to participate one of the following three ways:
Option 1
10% of earned rebate goes toward the SCRIP program
45% of earned rebate goes toward St. Mary's general budget
45% of earned rebate goes toward a family's tuition account
Option 2
10% of earned rebate goes toward the SCRIP program
90% of earned rebate goes toward St. Mary's general budget
Option 3
10% of earned rebate goes toward the SCRIP program
45% of earned rebate goes toward St. Mary's general budget
45% of earned rebate goes toward a tuition assistance fund.
You may choose any family's tuition account for your rebates to go toward ie. grandparents or aunts/uncles.
Our program's year runs April 1 - March 31 with rebates earned going to the following year's tuition account. Earnings will be posted quarterly.

2) Go to shopwithscrip.com
and register using our school code: 47BL9262151L3
3) Start shopping!!

What is SCRIP?
When you purchase SCRIP, you are purchasing gift cards/gift certificates that are used just like cash. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas, and other essentials, and with every purchase - you earn rebates.
The merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you to support them by shopping with SCRIP at their stores. St. Mary's purchases the cards in bulk quantities from local retailers and nationally from Great Lakes Scrip Company and receives a 2-20% discount at time of purchase.
A REBATE is the amount of profit we get from a retailer.
For example a retailer may offer us their cards at 10% - therefore a $10.00 card costs us $9.00 and we make a profit or REBATE of $1.00.

Why Is SCRIP Effective?
The reason for the effectiveness of SCRIP is simple: families generate rebates through purchases they would make anyway - without spending an additional penny.

Retailers like SCRIP, too. Families who purchase SCRIP certificates are actively supporting the retailers who participate in this program.

How Can I Get SCRIP?
We are implementing a new program for managing and purchasing SCRIP called ShopWithScrip.
You can shop online at your convenience for local and national retailers. We get notified of your order and process it for you to pick up and pay for at the school.
By shopping this way you have access to hundreds of National Retailers stocked by Great Lakes Scrip Company that we don't regularly have on hand. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com for more information. Register using our school code = 47BL9262151L3
Place your online order with ShopWithScrip by Monday 10 am and pick it up Friday.
OR
SCRIP to Go gift cards/certificates (the ones we have on hand) will be available
Tue, Thur, and Fri 2:30 - 3:15 pm at the school
and
after the weekend Masses at St. Mary's.

or sending it to school with your student
for pick up at the end of the day.
